Note: Make sure you are logged in and in the correct event
If you, as an English planner would like to throw an event for French participants you could decide to have the platform itself in English, but show the participants a french registration form/web page/emails etc.
Go to edit general info and make sure the multilingual registration is selected in your event settings.
Go to event website and scroll down. You will see the following overview. Choose (in this case) as primary language English and as a other language Francais as well. Save the changes and click on "Translate interface".
You will see the following overview. The default version is as you can see in English, since your platform settings are in English. However, the french translation is also shown.
You can choose from all webpages and email templates you are currently using.
You can decide to change the text if:
- Something is not translated
- If you would like to say it differently
You could change the text by clicking on the text, and editing it.
In this way the interface, shown to the participant will appear in French.
You could also use this for the translation of the registration form fields for example, translating first name, last name, etc.
