Note: Make sure you are logged in and in the correct event
If your event does not have enough participants you could decide to cancel your event. If your participants ordered products you would like to give them a full refund. How do you make sure this happens?
Go to 'participants' and select all your participants. Click on 'change status'.
Change their status into 'canceled'.
Since you as a planner cancel the event, you probably do not want to apply any cancellation costs. Therefore, do not select the box 'apply cancellation costs'. Click on 'save'.
The following pop-up will appear.
Since you cancel the participants as a planner, it is not necessary to have any cancellation period or cancellation costs applied in the product settings.
If you instead want to apply cancellation costs to the participant, you can select the box 'apply cancellation costs'.
Note! If you select this box, you cancel the participants as if he/she would cancel him/herself. Meaning that a cancellation period is required to be able to cancel the product. Otherwise, you only cancel participation, but the product still has to be paid.
