This article explains how the badge printing works and which settings you need to choose to make it work.
Step 1. Install the printer
Login into the check-in app and click on settings (right top).
Turn on the 'print badges upon check-in' option and select a printer (connected with Bluetooth). Before you could select a printer for the badge printing you need to install your printer of course. Check the following videos.
In the three custom columns, you can decide which information about the participant you would like to view when you check people in. For example: First name, last name and company.
I No scanner
Search for a participant by manually filling in their name on the search bar, and check them in. The participants with a blue circle are checked in. At the right of the search bar, there is also a filter where you can choose to show all participants, registered participants or only new participants.
Click on the right top on 'scan'. Click on: 'click to scan' and start scanning the barcodes. Check the scanning tutorial. Scan the barcode your participants received in their registration confirmation. The scanner can scan from a printed ticket but also from mobile devices as long as the screen is very bright. The scanner is connected to the Ipad via Bluetooth. The barcode is scanned, the participant is recognized and checked in.
Badge is automatically printed the moment you check someone in.
