Note: make sure you are logged in and in the correct event.
This article explains how to create and change your email lay out.
Go to event website, email templates and click on edit layout.
You can choose an already existing layout or create one yourself. Let's create one ourselves!
There are three options:
I. Duplicate a generic organisation layout
This method is only possible if you already have an organisational level layout setup prior to creating new event layout.
II. Create layout from theme (Using Azavista Layout Editor)
This method allows you to choose from two email template themes with different layout structures and three different web page templates. In this case we use one of the two email templates.
III. Blank HTML/CSS editor
This method allows you to add your own HTML and CSS codes into Azavista. Which is very common for users who would like to customize their layout using third party, designer or in-house codes.
Minimum requirement when using this method:
a. Please make sure the keyword %CONTENT_FOR_LAYOUT% is present somewhere in the HTML.
b. Linked images should not be hosted on temporary locations, to make sure the image is always visible. (PS: In case the image is also required for your event website in Azavista, please make sure that this image is hosted at https environment.)
c. When pasting the code onto the HTML+CSS editor, please make sure the correct type is chosen. In this case "email" type.
d. Designed HTML + CSS should work out of the box, where it will render (supported) by major email clients.
Here you can see an overview of all the layouts you created. In this case only two different email layouts.
You can edit the layouts (change titles, colors, images), rename them, apply them so that they are used in all email templates, or delete them.
Note! Requirements header:
- Upload a picture and send it to the server (instead of using just an URL)
- Size must be 580 pixels wide
You can also manually assign email template types if you do not want the same layout for all templates.
Go to an email template, and select the layout you want.
If you would like to select one standard template for all automatic emails you can do this via the following drop-down menu.
