When you have multiple participant types, for example VIP, Regular, Internal, Speakers and you want to make specific registration forms and or web pages for each of these groups, please use this article.
First you have to create a Custom field in Field templates. You can do this by clicking on the drop down menu and click on "Fields template"
At the bottom of the page, under 'custom fields' you find the button "Add a custom field". Click on it.
Here you can create your groups. First you have to create a "label." For example; Category/participant type or role participants. When you completed this you have to set the "Field type" to "options". Options means that only one participant type can be chosen per participant. Now on the right side you can create your groups.
When done press "Save".
Now we go back to the "Event website" and press on the wheel to change to setting of the form.
When you scroll down the page. You see "For invitees only" if you don't see this you have to deselect "Public form"
In the square of "For invitees only" you can choose filtered by "participant role" and choose one of the categories or participant types you have just created.
Make sure that all your participants have a certain label assigned to them. In this way their private link will automatically lead to the right page for their participant type.
If you don't include this field in the registration form, but just leave it as an 'unused field', you are able to fill in the field for them. Your participants won't see which role you assigned to them, but they will see the right pages assigned to them.
