When you want to add or change a button in your email template please use this article.
Go to your email template and click on edit. When you want to change the text in a button just click on the text to change it.
To make the button a hyperlink/merge tag/keyword so it will redirect the participant, you have to click on the red flag in the right corner.
Here you can choose where the link will redirect to, for example your registration page.
Now you have to copy the link and press on the button. You have to copy the link in the space below the word "URL" and you have to set the protocol to 'other'. When you have done this, you have created a new button.
You can create a new button by copy-pasting it from a different email template (i.e. from the Registration Invitation email).
You then can adjust the wording in it and the link behind the button (see Step 4.).
NOTE: Do not create new buttons, layout is not applied to them.
