Update Release logs 17-12-2015
Option custom field : Advanced Editing
Field values for custom fields of type “option” is now :
- Insertable between other values
- Sortable interactively
Please note that value that is already selected by participant is not allowed for changes. A warning pop-up will appear when your or your colleague tries to change value already selected by your participants. Editions are then also not saved.
The planner can register the participant on his/her behalf and have email confirmation sent out automatically.
Participant whose registration status is manually changed (by the planner) into “Registered” is now receiving automatic email confirmation. Previously this only happens when participant registered naturally via submitting the form.
Add decline link (merge tag) on invitation email
New merge tag: %cancel_link% is available on email editor. This merge tag creates a quick link for your invitees to decline their invitations, which can be hyperlinked to a text or a button.
The planner can add and edit a cancellation page as if it were a registration form
New Page type: “Cancellation Form” for requesting “reason to decline/cancel” and as well other question types.
New email template for updates after participant registration.
New email template type: Registration update confirmation (Automatic), to confirm the participant with changes he/she had just submitted. New merge tag %changed_registration_data% is available, and active only for this email template type.
Email templates for roommate selection and removal, per event
The content of Roommate notification is now available for changes and customisation.
- New email template type: Roommate Selected (Automatic)
- New email template type: Roommate Removed (Automatic)
Email templates have styled elements, like buttons
Both register or decline button found on the default email templates can be styled on the layout level. This is only applicable to new default templates. Your existing email templates is not affected.
New validation rule to custom text fields: for "international phone number"
It is now possible to set "validation rule" setting for custom field “text” type. The available rules are as follows:
- Numeric = Restrict the participant’s input to numbers only
- Email = Restrict the participant’s input to email only
- Phone number = Restrict the participant’s input to international phone numbers (e.g +31692394915 for Netherlands and +44123012305 for UK)
- Name = Restrict the participant’s input of name to have proper capitalization on the first letter. (e.g John, instead of john)
We have improved the quick search behaviour where some users were experiencing a white page after submitting edition to search result.
Planner can set a custom option field to a selection of participants, in a bulk action
There is now a functionality called “Set field” to allow bulk, manual changes on custom fields “option” type. This allows planner to easily change option value on multiple participants at once (e.g grouping 50 participants by changing their “custom field = group” into “group 1” or “group 2”), without having to go into each participant and change the value one by one.
Limit event editions to event planner and co-owners
Events now can be limited to “co-owners”, where only both the event responsible user and co-owner user can make changes to the event. Non co-owners are not allowed to edit the event or make changes to participants, but are allowed to view the registration status and progress of the event.
This setting can be found on the "edit event details" page
