Azavista has the possibility to support whitelabel page. If you use this feature, any domainname such as events.yourdomain.com or similar can be used as the registration link for your participants and registration website.
In order to do this some steps need to be taken. In this sample we take events.yourdomain.com, but you can choose any other name like registrations.yourdomain.
com. Because the registration process uses https to communicate with the participant, a certificate needs to be created for https://events.yourdomain. com
Please be aware that these steps might take some time.
Step 1 : Create a CNAME (Canonical Name)
In your name server at "yourdomain.com" create a cname for the desired name of your registration website pointing at app.azavista.com
Step 2 : Notify Azavista the CNAME has been implemented and communicate the administrative email address for "yourdomain.com" to Azavista. This email address should be monitored because an https creation request will be send later to this email address.
Step 3 : Azavista creates an https certificate request for events.yourdomain.com
Step 4 : email@example.com
receives an email
After submitting the certificate request, firstname.lastname@example.org
will receive an email with a link. Please click on this link to validate the certificate creation request.
Step 5 : Certificate installation
Azavista downloads and installs the certificate and switches Azavista to whitelabel mode
Step 6 : Azavista informs you about the changes
Azavista informs you and will ask you to validate the changes
Step 7 : Validation of the changes
You will be asked to validate the changes
Special remark :
You should always communicatie the full website link to your participants, this means :
event_website_pages/view/home/ xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx
If you use https://events.yourdomain.
com you will arrive on the normal landing page of Azavista.
