One of the features Azavista supports is the ability to create "white labelled" event registration pages. If you make use of this feature, any domain name that you control can be used as a registration link for your participants and event website.
In order to do this, some steps need to be taken. In this example, we use events.yourdomain.com, but any other subdomain of a domain you control can also be used. In order to ensure secure communication with your participants, we use [LetsEncrypt](https://letsencrypt.org/) to automatically generate and renew SSL certificates.
Step 1: Create a CNAME (Canonical Name) DNS Record
Through your domain registrar's control panel, create a CNAME record for the desired name of your registration website that points to app.azavista.com, or your private instance (if you have one). If you are unsure whether you have a private instance, please contact Azavista support to double check.
events.yourdomain.com -> app.azavista.com
Notify Azavista that the CNAME has been created, and what the domain name is.
Azavista creates and sets up SSL certificate and communicate it back to customer.
Step 4: Validate
Validate the changes. This is as simple as visiting events.yourdomain.com in your browser and ensuring that you see the green lock icon in the address bar.
You should always communicate the full website link to your participant (for instance, https://events.yourdomain.com/event_website_pages/view/home/xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx), as you can retrieve from your Event Website page in Azavista. If your participants receive only https://events.yourdomain.com, they will arrive on the Azavista login page.
