The roomblock feature allows planners to specify the amount of rooms they need per night with the cost corresponding to each one of those nights. This is useful, for example, when you want to prebook a certain amount of rooms and then accommodate the participants based on what you have booked.
First you have to create a new rooming list, but do not specify any amount of rooms to create in it yet.
Then click on Contracted rooms.
Insert the type, amount and price of rooms for each night of the event. You can also insert room labels that are helpful to differentiate between different kinds of the same room type (as in the two last rows of the screenshot below).
The room block has now been created. Participants are now ready to be assigned to those rooms. However, that can happen in different ways.
