This features allows planners to insert links in their emails so that participants can click on them and add the event to their respective calendars. Currently there is support for the following calendars: iCal, Google Calendar and Outlook.
Select the timezone for your event:
Insert the corresponding merge tag(s) in your invitation email.
We advice to embed the merge tag in a word, for example:
Participants will be able to create the calendar event when clicking on the link. For Outlook and iCal an .ics file is downloaded which, upon double clicking, opens up prompting the user to add the event to the calendar.
In the case of Google Calendar, the link leads directly to the cloud-based app (it may prompt for log-in).
Important: If a participant from the US adds to her calendar the dates for an event taking place in The Netherlands, it will be done taking into account the corresponding timezone indicated during the creation of the event.
